Ask AI & insights
Foco, the FocusStat AI analyst, answers plain-language questions about your site. It never sees raw events or invents numbers: it can only call a fixed set of typed queries (the same ones the dashboards use) and must answer from their results.
Where to find Foco
The Ask Foco pill sits in the bottom-right corner of every dashboard page. Click it and the chat panel opens right there; Foco knows which page you are on, so "what am I looking at?" always has an answer. A list of suggested questions shows what it can do. On desktop you can drag the panel's top-left corner to resize it, and it remembers your size. Minimize with the button or Escape; the conversation stays while you navigate between pages.
How it works
When you ask a question, the model picks from about thirty read-only tools, each returning an aggregate for a time window (24h, 7d or 30d): traffic comparison, top pages, sources, campaigns, geography, technology, funnels, paths, retention, frustration signals, heatmap elements, sessions, replays, web vitals, errors, insights and tracker health. It can chain several calls, then must return a structured answer.

What to ask
Anything about this site's analytics, including advice: "Why did traffic drop this week?", "Which page should I fix first?", "What state are my US visitors from?", "Where do mobile users rage click?", "How do I improve conversions from search?". Say "today", "this week" or "this month" to set the window; the default is 7 days.
Limits and cost
Each site gets a daily question limit (50 by default). Identical questions asked again within 15 minutes are served from cache and do not count. Settings → AI shows token usage and estimated cost for the last 30 days; your account page shows it across all sites. The provider is configurable: without an API key FocusStat runs in a preview mode that returns placeholders.
The daily briefing
The Overview opens with a short briefing. The detection is deterministic: FocusStat compares the current period with the previous one across every dimension, applies minimum-volume guards so tiny numbers do not produce noise, and ranks the segments that explain each change. The AI only writes the explanation of findings that were already computed; it cannot add or alter a number.
Automatic insights and alerts
The Insights page lists detected anomalies (traffic or conversion drops, error spikes, slow pages, rage-click surges) with the segments behind them. Alerts under Settings → Goals & Alerts watch the metrics you choose and post to the same page.
