Questions

Is the beta really free?
Yes. No card, no trial clock, limited to the first 50 accounts. When Pro launches you will get at least 30 days notice, and beta accounts keep a lifetime 50% discount (about $4 per site per month).
What happens to my account when the beta ends?
Nothing disappears. Your data and dashboards stay; sites over the free limits will ask you to upgrade to Pro at your locked-in discount, or trim usage.
What counts as an event?
Every pageview, custom event, click signal, error and web vital the tracker sends. A typical page visit produces 3 to 6 events. Replay chunks are not counted as events.
What happens if I go over a limit?
Nothing breaks. We keep collecting, your sites page shows how much of the monthly allowance you have used, and you get a clear notice once you pass it. We will reach out before anything changes. Only a single site running far past the limit (1M events, a full Pro allowance) pauses collection until the next month.
Do you need a cookie banner for FocusStat?
FocusStat sets no cookies and does not identify people, so in most jurisdictions no consent banner is needed for the analytics itself. Session replay records interaction on your own site with inputs masked. See the visitor privacy page for the exact list of what is collected.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. Reports export to CSV, and you can delete all of a site's data, the site itself, or your whole account from the dashboard. Visitors can erase their own browser's data with a one-click opt-out.
Can I self-host it?
No. FocusStat is a fully managed service: you paste one script tag and we run everything else. Your data can be exported to CSV or deleted entirely at any time, and it is never shared with ad networks.
Why is there no team plan?
One thing at a time. Team features (members, roles, shared dashboards) are on the roadmap and will land as an add-on to Pro rather than a separate tier.
